Hey Sweet Shoppers! I hope everyone is having a blast with the challenges. There are some amazing pages in the Portfolio Thread this month! I hope this week’s Featured Scrapper Challenge will help you add one more fabulous page to your May Portfolio. This week we’re featuring another one of our Sweet Shoppe regulars and someone I’ve known in digi-land for years. Angel (ajf9597) has an amazing gallery! She’s great at negative space and clustering!

Here’s a little more about Angel:

I am a SAHM to 2 beautiful kids, Austin is 7 and in first grade and Emily just turned 1 in March.  I have been married to my husband for almost 13 years and we live in Nebraska with our kids and furbaby. I started paper scrapping over 15 years ago and found digi in April 2006.  I think I first came across it on Ebay LOL!  Someone was selling custom scrapbook pages and I was curious how it all worked, so I asked her and got a few site suggestions and never looked back!  I started with DIP10 and then upgraded to CS2.

1. Describe your scrapping environment.

I scrap downstairs away from distractions and like to have the radio on.  Not too exciting, but it is my ME time.

2. What is the most challenging part of scrapping for you?

Trying to make my pages different so that they don’t all look the same.

3. What was the title of your first layout?

Our Little Man

4. Do you have any other hobbies beside digi-scrapping?

I love taking pictures, but obviously that goes with digi scrapping.  Does volunteering count LOL!  I love scrapping and it really does take up a lot of my time, so I don’t think I can take on another hobby.

I also asked Angel to share 3 of her own favorite layouts with us and tell us what she loves about them.

I love this layout of Austin!  I think his funny and sweet personality really comes through in these pictures.

This is one of my favorites of Emily!  Mostly because again I love the pictures, it’s so hard to believe how fast they grow and she is so tiny here.

And lastly one of Austin & Emily.  I love these pictures, it just shows what a connection they have and how much they adore each other.
