Hey girlies!
Libby here with another Friday morning blog challenge for ya! As the mother of a pre-teen girl (yikes!!! Did I just say PRE-TEEN? How is that possible???? Sorry… side-tracked), I’m cracking up at the things that she is into right now. For example, she loves watching American Idol with me. This week, her heart was completely broken when Jason Castro got sent home. There were tears. And attitude. Her world had officially come to an end.
So, this made me start thinking about the guys I was “in love with” as a kid. I remember vividly having my walls plastered with posters of Kirk Cameron and New Kids on the Block. I was infatuated! I mean how could you NOT be when you look at these cute faces? LOL!
So who were YOUR childhood crushes? Including a pic isn’t required, but we do all love a little eye candy. So hook us up if you can!

Well, I was never really like that (that I remember)… in love with any stars. But if I had to pick, I would say Mark-Paul Gosselaar, aka, Zack Morris and of course his co-star Mario Lopez, or AC Slater.

This is easy peasy! I have always been in HOT LOVE with Jon Bon Jovi… I remember staring at long haired posters of him when I was in 6th grade and thinking someday maybe I will marry him… LMBO!!! 20-something years later I’m still drooling… although ok with the fact that we’ll never be married.

Well I don’t even think I can remember way back that far. I wasn’t into anyone untill my 20’s and it was Jonny Depp in 21 Jump Street. I remember that no one could call me on Sunday nights when I watched the show. I had pictures of him all over my bulliten board. I even watched him in “Cry Baby” LOL because I loved him so much. Funny how some one can be even better with age.

LOL, this is too funny! I was also a NKOTB fan, Joe was my favorite, *ahhh* I was Also in LOve with Tom Cruise, lol, Top Gun posters all over my room! and believe it or not Patrick Swaszey (?) Dirty Dancing too! I used to dream over, No body puts baby in the corner, LOL!!

oh, man. The memories! My friend and I were totally infatuated with NKOTB. She liked Joey and I liked Jonathan. I also was REALLY ‘in love’ with Jonathan Brandis. Do you remember that show on NBC, SeaQuest?? It was my favorite show because of him and because i wanted to be a marine biologist, so a show about a bunch of exploring scientists on a submarine was pretty cool, lol.

Love your choices, Libby! NKOTB (especially Joey) and Kirk Cameron were definitely 2 of my favorites. NKOTB was plastered all over my walls as a teen!

I remember being younger and having NKOTB, and Kirk Cameron all over the place, but then as I got into teen (15 and on) years..it was all the bad boy big hair bands! SO many, but to name a few…Poison, Slaughter, GNR, Skid Row, Metallica, and even some Alice Cooper lol

Okay, first off, this is making me feel OLD, lol! Plus I was a bit of a weird one and not really into most of the popular music or idols of my time even. I guess I just wasn’t one for crushes, really.
The Who was my favourite band as a teenager (still love them!), and I guess you could say I had a bit of a crush on Roger Daltrey, the lead singer. It’s funny for me to even think that now though, because when I look at him back then I think, “God, he is soooo not my type!” I was the same with Bruce Springsteen. I think it was probably about being in love with the music more than anything.
