Working it with a Sneak Peek and a Gift!
Happy Wednesday, everyone! I can’t believe that it is almost July! It seems that this summer is passing by so quickly! Next Friday is the 4th! Can you believe it!? I’ve always loved celebrating Independence day. When I was little my family would walk up to the community firework show. I remember the thrill of watching the fireworks, staying up late, and creating the perfect red, white, and blue outfit for the day. Since my boys are scared of loud noises, we’ve celebrated our last few 4ths in front of the TV with the Boston Pops (what an awesome show!). Hopefully we will be able to venture outdoors again sometime soon to watch the fireworks in real life! One of the family traditions I’ve created is making caramel corn for the 4th. Click on the card below for the recipe. (It’s a tad sticky!)
This Saturday I have a new 4th of July kit coming out: All American. This kit is rocking with 17 papers, more than 60 elements, and two full alphas! Don’t forget to pick it up on Saturday when it is 20% off! There will also be a free with purchase quick page album, so plan on taking a lot of pictures of your celebration!
Here is the kit:
When I was thinking about what to create as a gift for this blog post, my original plan was to give out a printable pinwheel. Well things snowballed a little and I have a printable hybrid party pack for you! First, I have to thank LuAnn, for creating the “rockets” and the pinwheels. She did a fantastic job! So please thank her as well if you pick up the pack! Included in your gift is a printable paint can label, “rockets” and a pinwheel. Click on the image below to download:
Here is a better view of mine:
FYI – I used matte photo paper to make the pinwheels. Regular paper was too thin. I cheated a bit and bought pinwheels at the dollar store and removed their pinwheels and added mine. The rocket’s blasting red/blue are Wilton Foil Fun Pix. I bought my paint can at Benjamin Moore for $3.20 but I think they might be on sale this week at JoAnns.
On the 4th I’ll probably take everything out and fill it with caramel corn, YUM!
I hope you enjoy!
