365 Days of Bliss – July 5, 2011
Hi all! Libby here to kick off the anniversary celebration that the Libby Lou Crew has in store! Can you believe it was 3 years ago today that I debuted as a designer here at Sweet Shoppe? The girls have a week of fun planned for you including games, prizes, and a freebie later in the week that you won’t want to miss! Be sure and check the forum every day for a peek at what they have up their sleeves.
I just want to take a minute and say how absolutely blessed I am to call Sweet Shoppe my home. When I first started designing in the spring of 2008, I was simply looking for a way to be able to stay home with my daughter. At that time, I’d been working full-time in a dental office, and the hours didn’t do much for family time. I never imagined how much of a blessing SSD would be to me in the future.
Since coming to SSD, I’ve had and recovered from a prolonged illness, gotten divorced, moved out of state, remarried, and had countless other personal things creep up that made working from home such a miracle. There isn’t a day go by that I’m not thankful for Sweet Shoppe and each of my loyal customers. Without you guys, not only would I be unable to do what I love, but I’d likely be working in a dental office somewhere and may not have ever moved to Kansas and met my husband!
Just for fun, I thought it would be a trip to show you guys a few of my first kits that I debuted with on July 5, 2008. My style has certainly changed a bit since then, too, don’t ya think?

Oh, and A Man Named Brady just makes me laugh. My kiddos frequently start their stories with “One day…” I could totally scrap with that kit!

I’m such a dork but I’ve tears in my eyes because I REMEMBER those kits!!! I remember you showing me the previews over YM and me badgering you to let me be on your CT. I’ve had so much fun working with you and am so so SO freaking happy for you now–your designs, your accomplishments, your life, woman!!! 🙂 I consider you one of my absolute BEST designers I’ve ever worked with and cannot thank you enough for letting me work with you! ♥ Congratulations, Libby! Here’s to another sweet anniversary of your awesomely fun style!

While your talent and style have changed, I would still buy any of those older kits- they’re ADORABLE!
I’m so happy you’re here. Without SSD, I would have never gotten to buy your amazing kits, be influenced by your excellent style, or get to know you as the amazing, caring, awesome woman that you are.
