This gorgeous kit was originally designed to raise funds for the Red Cross Victorian Bushfire Appeal, a cause that is very close to my heart... The bundle has been retired, but you can still get the kit!

The Close To My Heart Kit includes:14 Patterned 12"x12" Papers; 6 Textured Solid 12"x12" Papers; Complete Alpha set incuding numbers and common punctuation; 4 bows; 6 assorted buttons; 6 assorted tiny glass heart charms - with and without bow ties; 3 paper-pieced flourishes; 3 large paper flowers; 5 assorted small paper flowers; 3 frames with stitched detail; 1 plain frame; 3 journal strips with stitched detail; 3 scalloped journal cards in assorted shapes; 1 lace trim; 1 spray of real leaves; 4 assorted ribbons; 1 double-edged tiny scalloped trim; 4 coloured loopy strings; 1 crumpled paper swirl.

Please note that after the 31st of March 2009, the kit only will still be available for sale, but will no longer be raising funds for this charity. The additional projects included with the bundle will be retired after the fundraising period. Details of donations made to the Red Cross will be posted on My Blog in the month following the fundraising period. Please note that due to the high demand on the Red Cross website and phone lines during this time, they have advised on their website that there may be a delay of 3-4 weeks in issuing receipts.
